Scores of Barbadians will be presented with their certificates and scrolls during the Barbados Vocational Training Board’s (BVTB) graduation ceremony this Saturday, November 18, at the Lester Vaughan School.

The ceremony will get under way at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the School Hall, at Cane Garden, St. Thomas. The feature address will be delivered by Minister of Labour, Social Security and Human Resource Development, Senator Dr. Esther Byer Suckoo.

The BVTB is a technical vocational institute catering to competency-based training and providing BVTB and CVQ certification.  It offers a number of courses that assist Barbadians to gain entry into the job market.

Among the more popular courses being offered by the BVTB are International Cuisine, Bar and Restaurant Services, Computer Applications, Office Procedures, Housekeeping and Electrical Installation.
