The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) and Baird and Associates are inviting residents connected to the South Coast sewerage system to a town hall meeting, next Monday, November 11, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

It will be held at the Hawthorn Memorial Methodist Church, Worthing, Christ Church, and will focus on the permanent outfall being planned for the South Coast sewerage system.

Persons attending will be informed about the plans for the placement of a permanent outfall in the area; the projected time schedule; the impact of the works and benefits of the project; and environmental management and mitigation measures.

The Environmental Social and Impact Assessment (ESIA) document on the proposed permanent outfall is available for viewing at Worthing and Oistins Police Stations; Town and Country Development Planning Office; and BWA Headquarters.
