The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises residents and businesses in parts of St. Michael that it will be making a 16-inch connection in Lodge Hill on Monday, May 25, between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. This work forms part of the installation of the new tank system at Lodge Hill.

As a result, customers in Lodge Hill and the immediate surrounding areas may be affected by low pressure or water outages and are asked to store an adequate supply of water to help throughout this period. Water tankers will also be dispatched to assist.

In addition, the BWA informs residents and businesses in parts of St. John that it will be installing a valve on a six-inch main near Colleton Plantation on Tuesday, May 26, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

As a result, customers in the following areas may be affected by low pressure or water outages: Massiah Street, Stewart Hill, Colleton Gardens, Haynes Hill, Coach Hill, Welch Town, Sargeant Street, Sealy Hall and the surrounding districts.

Persons are asked to store an adequate supply of water to help during this period. Water tankers will also be dispatched to assist. The Barbados Water Authority apologizes for any inconvenience these service disruptions may cause.
