The Barbados Youth Service (BYS) is currently accepting applications for its 2015/2016 intake.
The BYS, which falls under the Division of Youth in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, offers a 12-month developmental programme for unemployed young people between the ages of 16 and 22.
The programme is divided into several phases: Personal Development; Academic & Sports Development; Cultural Arts; Vocational Training; and a Specialised Work Experience Module in Career Choice Areas.
Application forms are available from the Barbados Youth Service, #33 Warren???s Industrial Park, St. Michael, or at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael.
Additionally, completed application forms must be returned to the Ministry or the BYS??? headquarters by Friday, July 24.??Further information may be obtained by calling the BYS at 310-4011, or 310-4012.
