Members of the public are invited to put their talents to the test by entering the Caribbean Agricultural Health and Food Safety Agency???s (CAHFSA) logo competition.

The competition, funded under the 10th European Development Fund Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary Project, is open to residents of all CARIFORUM Member States.

The logo should utilise the colours dark blue, light blue, green or yellow.

It should be original, not previously published, and must not include any material, including a photograph, icon or symbol, that is copyright protected.??The logo must be able to be reproduced in electronic and print media, must remain legible when its size is reduced, and should be visually effective in colour and grayscale.

Electronic and hard copy entries (size 8 ????? x 11???), along with completed entry forms, should be submitted by email to cahfsalogocompetition@gmail.com or the office of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, 3rd Floor, Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, on or before Monday, August 17.

The individual who submits the winning entry will receive a certificate, an invitation to the official logo launch with complimentary airfare and accommodations, artistic credit for their design, and the opportunity to be featured on the CAHFSA website.??CAHFSA is an intergovernmental agency established by the signing of an agreement among CARICOM Member States.

Its primary goal is to assist these States to coordinate and strengthen their infrastructure and institutional and human resource capacity, so as to effectively deliver agricultural goods that meet international health and food safety standards, in order to safeguard human health.??In addition, the agency works to prevent the introduction, or minimise the incidence of transmission, of agricultural pests across national borders.
