(Camp Transition)

Camp Transition will be hosting three camps this year to empower students throughout their journey at secondary school and prepare them successfully for options beyond.

The camps, which will be housed at The St. Michael School, Martindales Road, St. Michael, will run from Monday, August 22, to Friday, August 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and will target different age groups.

The junior camp is designed for students who will be transitioning to secondary school in September 2022, while the intermediate camp is for those who have just completed first form at secondary school but are still unsettled and uncertain about how to make it successfully in the next year.  The senior camp is aimed solely at teenagers, aged 13 to 19.

Meanwhile, parents can register for the Parents’ Empowerment Seminar, which takes place on Wednesday, August 31. This seminar will explore common challenges encountered by parents and children at the different transitional points throughout secondary school and share with them techniques to overcome these.

Parents interested in sending their children to Camp Transition, as well as benefiting from the seminar, are encouraged to click here to access the registration form and other relevant information.

The theme for Camp Transition and the Parents’ Empowerment Seminar is Be Empowered.  Be Ready To Stand Out – Beaming With Success.
