Parents and guardians of children attending the National Sports Council’s Summer Camp at the National Stadium and all other persons participating in sporting activities conducted at the National Stadium, are advised that the facility is closed until further notice.
This is to facilitate the safe removal of the Light Towers located at the National Stadium.
The following sports that are affected will be temporarily relocated from the National Stadium as follows:
- Football/Boxing will take place at the Barbados Lumber Company Playing Field
- Track and Field will be held at the Blenheim Playing Field
- Cycling will take place at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium
The National Sports Council is requesting that parents and guardians of children be aware of this temporary change and apologizes for any inconvenience caused as we work to ensure the safety of campers.
