Another Farmers’ Forum on medicinal cannabis will be hosted next week by the Cannabis Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
Scheduled for Friday, July 10, the free virtual event will take place on the Zoom platform. It will feature master grower facility and cultivation expert, Shlomo Booklin.
The Unit is encouraging all farmers with an interest in the new government initiative to participate in the forum that will focus on technical issues, such as standards required for the making of medicinal cannabis and the best cultivation methods.
Farmers may register at email address firstname.lastname@example.org, by Wednesday, July 8, to indicate their participation.
The first forum on medicinal cannabis was held on Friday, May 22. The Unit, having seen over 100 farmers and entrepreneurs participating, anticipates an even greater number will attend the July 10 event.
The Cannabis Unit is an arm under the Ministry, which has been created to inform the design of the new medicinal cannabis industry, to engage stakeholders and key experts, as well as support essential public awareness and education.
