On November 30,??the Ambassador of Barbados to Brazil,??H.E. Ms. Yvette Goddard, hosted a small lunchtime reception to mark the 44th Anniversary of Independence.??The reception was attended by members of the diplomatic community, friends of Barbados and members of the small Barbadian community in Brasilia.
On display were photos of various Barbadian scenes taken by Marcos Pacheco, a Brazilian photographer from Sao Paulo, who travelled to Barbados on the inaugural flight of GOL airlines in June of this year.
Also featured was a rum bar with a variety of the Barbadian rums.
