The Barbados Drug Service will on Tuesday, November 23, host a public lecture on the topic The Management of Cardiac Disease in Barbados.
The lecture, which will be delivered by Cardiologist, Dr. Richard Ishmael, gets under way at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at Solidarity House, Harmony Hall, ??????????????????????????St. Michael.?? Bus transportation will be provided after the lecture to the Fairchild Street and Princess Alice bus terminals.
Approximately 29 per cent of all deaths in Barbados stem from heart disease, the contributing factors being lack of exercise, obesity, personality traits and stress.?? The public is invited to attend the lecture.??lbayley@barbados.gov.bb
