As part of activities to mark National Services Week (NSW), November 8 to 14, the Barbados Coalition of Service Industries (BCSI) will host an Education and Career Fair, aimed at sensitising and educating the public about those key areas that will help to further develop Barbados??? economy.

The career fair will take place from November 8 to 9, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Themed: Future Industries to Develop Sustainable Economic Growth, the fair will not only showcase career options but provide an educational component.??Individuals will receive information on the various higher education pathways to acquire the required credentials for the several careers highlighted.

Targeting secondary and tertiary educational institutions, persons will learn about careers that go beyond the traditional professions such as medicine, law, and engineering, to include career options such as biotechnology, energy technology, digital animation and biomedical engineering.
