Thousands of secondary school students are set to participate in a virtual conference designed to expose them to trailblazing careers, and assist with their personal and professional development.

The Careers of the Future Conference will take place February 8 to 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It will feature presentations from experts in various areas, including: robotics, three-dimensional printing, biotechnology, photovoltaic technology, mental wellness and soft skills development.

The youth development initiative, conceptualised by Public Relations Specialist at Lyrical Lava PR, Christal P. Austin, and co-produced by Founder of At Work Consultancy, Britney Sealy, has been endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training.

The youth conference has also been sponsored by the Barbados Public Workers’ Co-Operative Credit Union, McBride (Caribbean) Limited, Williams Solar, Export Barbados (BIDC), Guardian Life of the Caribbean, and Lynch Insurance Brokers Ltd.
