Regional customs officials will get the opportunity to show off their athleticism in a number of sporting disciplines, when the 30th Annual Caribbean Customs Sports Tournament, kicks off over the Easter weekend in Barbados.

The games will be held from Thursday, April 21 to Monday, April 25, at Dover and Briar Hall playing fields in Christ Church, starting at 10:00 a.m. each day.

Customs officials, drawn from 11 countries such as Antigua and Barbuda, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States Virgin Islands, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago, will participate in sporting activities such as men’s cricket, mixed softball cricket, football and basketball. There will also be dominoes, table tennis and a 3K walk.

Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Chris Sinckler, will deliver the feature address during the opening ceremony at the Barbados Concorde Experience.
