Representatives from Caribbean countries that have diplomatic relations with the People???s Republic of China met today ahead of the 6th Caribbean Round of Consultations with that country.

The meeting, which brought together officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs in the Caribbean, discussed priority issues for the region. It took place at the Hilton Barbados Resort.

Countries represented at the meeting were Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominica, Suriname and Jamaica.??The consultations with the Chinese will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, March 22, at the Hilton Barbados Resort at 9:00 a.m.
