The Ministry of Health and Wellness and the National Task Force on Wellness invite the public to join them at Sheraton Mall on Saturday, September 14, as they celebrate Caribbean Wellness Day 2019.

Activities, under the theme Healthy Ageing Starts Now, will promote the message that healthy ageing and healthy living are important at all stages of life.

The event kicks off at midday and will run until 5:00 p.m.  Its focus will be the nine dimensions of wellness – physical, spiritual, social, career, emotional, environmental, creative, intellectual and financial.

In addition to the booths which will be located in the mall, the public is also invited to take part in the physical activity sessions in the car park, beginning at 3:00 p.m.  These will include fitness demonstrations, tai chi and line dancing.
