Issues related to CARICOM will be the focus of a public lecture to be delivered by Barbados??? Ambassador to CARICOM, Robert Morris, later this month.
Entitled: CARICOM: Old Wine in New Wine Skins? it takes place Tuesday, June 23, at 7:00 p.m.at Queen???s College in the School???s Auditorium, Husbands, St. James.
Ambassador Morris is expected to look at strategies, policies and institutions implemented as part of the Caribbean???s regional integration project.
He will also examine whether CARICOM has failed the region and if CARICOM is ???alive and well???.
Members of the public are invited to attend the lecture which is being organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister. Following the lecture, persons will have a chance to engage in discussion on issues related to regional integration in the form of a question and answer session.
