The Coastal Zone Management Unit will host a cleanup of Carlisle Bay, Bay Street, St. Michael, on Saturday, November 7, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.
It will involve a beach and underwater cleanup, and members of the public, including school groups, businesses and hotels in the Carlisle Bay area, are invited to attend and show their support.
Interested persons are encouraged to meet at the National Conservation Commission???s Browne???s Beach facility, where they will be issued with garbage bags and gloves.
Those participating are advised that they should wear enclosed shoes, hats and sunscreen.??Refreshments will be available after the cleanup, while water will be available throughout the morning.
