The Community Development Department will join with the Family Life Commission of the Anglican Church and PAREDOS to host a parenting workshop entitled Parenting: An Effective Community Response.
The 10-week training programme will run from March 19 to May 25, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m.
Topics to be discussed include: The Barbadian Family Structure; Conflict Resolution; Essential Parenting Strategy; Childhood Development; Parenting, Religion and Spirituality; Maintaining Effective Communication within the Family and Accessing Social Services.
