Barbados will join with the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba to once again commemorate the Cubana airline crash of October 6, 1976.
The 38th anniversary will be marked this Sunday, October 5, with a visit to the Cubana Crash Memorial at Payne???s Bay, St. James, at 10:30 a.m.
The brief ceremony, which is expected to last for about 30 minutes, will include the playing of the National Anthems of Barbados and the Republic of Cuba by the Royal Barbados Police Force Band, and remarks by Cuba???s Ambassador to Barbados, Lissette P??rez P??rez.
