The Christ Church South Constituency Council will be hosting a Health and Wellness Fair tomorrow, Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Southern Plaza Complex, Oistins, Christ Church.

Minister of Health, Donville Inniss, will deliver the feature address to officially open the event at 11:30 a.m.

Residents are being urged to come out and benefit from free health checks, including blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and HIV and AIDS tests.?? Information on drug abuse prevention, environmental and prostate health will also be available. The event will also feature displays by the Barbados Council for the Disabled and the Royal Barbados Police Force.

In addition to massages and general health tips, participants will benefit from an aerobics session at 3:00 p.m. Children will not be left out, as face painting will also be available.

Residents will also have the opportunity to interact with Council members, and learn more about their Constituency Council, which has reminded that: "A Healthy Mind and Body Equals a Strong and Vibrant Constituency."
