Charles F. Broome Memorial Primary School will host its 5K Walk/Run and Fitness Fun Day this Saturday, February 2.
The 5K Run starts at 6:30 a.m. from the School on Government Hill, while the Walk begins there from 6:45 a.m. Both will culminate at the Bay Street Esplanade.
There will be activities for all ages including, Zumba, Boxercise, Circuit training and a Gangnam Style dance competition.??
Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring out their children to enjoy these and other activities to be held on the beach including Tug-o-war, volleyball, paddle ball and beach cricket.
Members of the public are invited to join the school in this fitness programme and are urged to wear sneakers.
At the close of the event a shuttle service will be provided from Bay Street to Government Hill, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
