The Charles F. Broome Memorial Primary School will once again host its Power of Choice Summer Transition Initiative under the theme: Fun and Fitness 2, from Monday, July 9, to Friday, August 10, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

The programme seeks to develop and nurture students’ interests in the areas of Reading, Mathematics and Science, through the use of varied developmentally appropriate activities. In addition, the initiative will present an intellectual challenge for students, as well as provide them with an opportunity to develop friendships, as they engage in different group, fun-oriented tasks.

This year’s summer transition initiative is open to students between the ages of four and 13. Additionally, a Before and After Care Programme will be in place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.

Registration forms may be collected from the school’s Government Hill, St. Michael office or the guard lodge from Monday, May 7, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
