Parents whose children???s immunisations are not up-to-date, or who may not be sure, are invited to visit any polyclinic from Monday, April 25, to Friday, April 29, to have the immunisation cards checked and children vaccinated.

This is one of the activities being conducted by the Ministry of Health to mark Vaccination Week.

The week, being celebrated in collaboration with the World Health Organisation and the Pan American Health Organisation, has as its theme: Go for the Gold! Get Vax.

There will be a further opportunity to bring children???s immunisations up-to-date at three outreach programmes slated for Saturday, April 30, in Haynesville, St. James; Heroes Square, Bridgetown; and the Emerald City Complex, St. Philip.

Everyone is invited to attend these sessions from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Services available will include vaccinations, HIV counselling and testing, PSA testing, mental health counselling, environmental health counselling and nutritional counselling. Health information will also be distributed, including information on chronic disease management and dental health.
