Community Council To Sensitise Residents About Chikungunya

The St. Peter Constituency Council will host a seminar to sensitise persons in the community about the chikungunya virus.

Entitled: Reducing the Threat of the Chikungunya Virus in St. Peter: Community Solutions, the seminar will be held on Sunday, October 19, at Kingdom Life Ministries, Diamond Rock, Speightstown, St. Peter, at 5:00 p.m.

Residents are urged to participate in order to gain valuable information on how to reduce the impact of the chikungunya outbreak now affecting the island.

Chikungunya Information On Social Media

The Ministry of Health, in its continuing efforts to keep the public informed about the chikungunya outbreak in Barbados, is using social media to provide up-to-date information.

Information is being disseminated via WhatsApp messaging, as well as on Facebook at www.facebook.com//moh.barbados. Visitors to the Ministry???s Facebook page may also post comments and queries.
