Christ Church and St. Michael have been earmarked for fogging by the Vector Control Unit next week.

The team will target districts in Christ Church from Monday, September 16 to Wednesday, September 18 and will turn its attention to the parish of St. Michael from Thursday, September 19 to Friday, September 20.

On Monday, the Unit will target Sargeant???s Village, Bartlett Road, Warners Gardens, Warners, Tino Terrace, Briar Hall, Primrose Avenue, Warners Terrace, Kendal Hill, Barracks Hill, Vauxhall Tenantry, Vauxhall and the environs.

The following day, Tuesday, Kendal Hill Park, Silver Hill, Silver Hill Housing Area, Maxwell Plains, Cane Vale and neighbouring districts, will be targetted for fogging. The Unit will wrap up in Christ Church on Wednesday, when they fog Golf Club Road, Rose Gardens, Rockley Terrace, Blue Waters, Rockley Meadows, Garden No.1 & No.2, Rockley, Worthing, St. Lawrence Main Road, St. Lawrence Gap, Harmony Hall and surrounding areas.

On Thursday, they will visit the following St. Michael districts: Bay Street, Collymore Rock, St. Paul???s Avenue, Bay View Avenue, Grant???s Avenue, Lawrence Avenue, Beckles Road, Palm Tree Place, Clarke???s Avenue, Curwen Avenue, Field Place, Gullyfield, Jessamine Avenue, Dalkeith, Chelsea Road and the environs.

The team will conclude its fogging operations on Friday, in Exmouth Gap, Parris Gap with Avenues, Morris Gap, Westbury Road, Pickwick Gap with Avenues,

New Orleans with Avenues, Kensington New Road, Chapman Lane with Avenues, Baxters Road, Reed Street, Mason Hall Street, Lakes Folly, Fontabelle, Harbor Road, President Kennedy Drive and surrounding areas.

The Ministry of Health???s fogging programme runs from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. each day. Persons with respiratory ailments are reminded that they should protect themselves from inhaling the fog, while children should desist from running behind the fogging vehicle.
