The Christ Church South Constituency Council of the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment, Urban and Rural Development will be staging a health and wellness fair, this Saturday, November 21.

The health fair will be held at Southern Plaza Complex, Oistins, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

It will feature blood pressure and cholesterol tests, blood sugar checks, as well as HIV tests and counselling.

Participants will also be given advice on the influenza A H1N1 virus, from the Christ Church Environmental Unit. There will also be displays by the Centre for Disabilities and the Christ Church South District Emergency Organisation.

Patrons will also be able to learn more about autism and hypertension and receive tips on massage and beauty techniques. Representatives from the National Council on Substance Abuse will also be on hand to speak about issues of substance addiction.

All Barbadians are invited.
