This year’s National Summer Camp Programme, which is hosted by the Ministry of Family, Culture, Sports and Youth, will begin at 69 locations across the island next Monday, July 9.

To officially acknowledge its start, Minister Stephen Lashley, will address a special service at People’s Cathedral, Bishops Court Hill, St. Michael, this Sunday, July 8, starting at 10:15 a.m. Other members of Cabinet, as well as representatives from various government ministries and support agencies will also be in attendance.

The annual Camp Programme reaffirms Government’s commitment to the care and welfare of its young citizens. Each year, it caters to over 8,000 children between four and 15 years of age.
