Fourth form secondary school students interested in meteorology and climate change will have the opportunity to learn about these and related subject areas at the annual summer school programme organised by the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology Institute (CIMH).

The four-week camp, being held at the CIMH’s Husbands, St. James facility, is scheduled to commence on Monday, July 9, and end on Friday, August 3.

The practical Weather and Water Summer Camp will focus on several aspects of meteorology and field hydrology, including an introduction to the subject matter; observation and measurement techniques; weather forecasting; agrometeorology; and climate change issues. There will also be guided tours of weather and water facilities across the island.
