The citizenship ceremonies scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, April 13, and Thursday, April 15, are postponed, until further notice.

Chief Immigration Officer at the Barbados Immigration Department, Wayne Marshall, explained this was as a result of the ash fall being experienced across the island from the La Soufriere volcano in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The ceremonies will be rescheduled as soon as the department reopens for business. Persons will be contacted in relation to their new dates. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
