The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training is reminding students registered to write the City and Guilds Mathematics and English examinations that they will take place on Monday, August 9, at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., respectively.

Students of the St. George Secondary School, Frederick Smith Secondary School, Grantley Adams Memorial School, St. Leonard’s Boys’ School, Parkinson Memorial School, Princess Margaret Secondary School, and New Horizons Academy will write the exams at their respective institutions.

However, those students from the Barbados Youth Advanced Corps will sit the examinations at the Division of Science, Barbados Community College, ‘Eyrie’ Campus, Howells Cross Roads, St. Michael.

All students are advised to arrive at their assigned examination venues at least an hour prior to the scheduled start of the exams.  This is to facilitate the necessary checks in adherence with the COVID-19 protocols, and to allow for the prompt commencement of the exams.

They should present their national registration card or another form of valid photo identification to the invigilators as proof of identification, and to allow for the recording of attendance.
