The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to clarify a story carried in the local press on Sunday, March 11, 2012 on the visa waiver agreement signed by Barbados and Haiti on March 9, 2012.
The agreement covers holders of diplomatic and official passports only. It does not refer to business persons.
In addition, the agreement does not come into effect immediately, but 30 days after the final notification between the two parties that all internal arrangements to bring the agreement into effect, have been completed.??
