The Winston Scott Polyclinic will bring the curtain down on its Child Month activities with a closing and prize-giving ceremony on Thursday, May 31, at the National Union of Public Workers’ headquarters, Dalkeith, St. Michael, at 1:00 p.m.

Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Senator Irene Sandiford-Garner, will deliver the feature address during the ceremony. In addition, the winners of the poster competition organised by the polyclinic for primary schools within the catchment area, will be awarded. The competition targeted children between the ages of eight and 10.

Throughout the month, the Winston Scott Polyclinic held presentations and talks which were delivered by various professionals to benefit parents and children. They included presentations by dentists; nutritionists; representatives from the Parent Education for Development in Barbados (PAREDOS, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘, NULL, NULL, 0); the Barbados Library Service; the Barbados Fire Service; and Sagicor Insurance.
