Issues related to the management of??chronic non-communicable diseases (CNCDs) in Barbados will be discussed this Friday, June 10, during a media briefing that has been called by Minister of Health, Donville Inniss.

The briefing starts at 10:00 a.m., in the Conference Room of the Frank Walcott Building, Culloden Road.

It will also provide an update on Barbados’ plans for the United Nations (UN) High-Level Meeting on CNCDs slated for September, at the UN headquarters in New York.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Ronald Fitt; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Joy St. John; Chairman of the National Commission for CNCDs, Professor Trevor Hassell,?? as well as officers from the Health Promotion Unit will also attend the briefing.
