Barbados Coast Guard Vessels RUDYARD LEWIS, EXCELLENCE AND ENTREPRISE, will be commissioned at the Coast Guard’s HMBS Pelican, Spring Garden Headquarters, this Saturday, September 13, at 4:00 p.m.
The Commissioning Orders will be read by Chief of Staff, Colonel Alvin Quintyne, and Acting Prime Minister, Freundel Stuart, will deliver the feature address.
There will also be a parade which will include detachments from the crew of the three vessels-the Barbados Coast Guard, the Barbados Defence Force Band and the Sea Cadets.
Among the specially invited guests will be Chief Justice, Sir David Simmons; members of the Cabinet, and Brigadier (retired) Rudyard Lewis.
