The 21 Ministers of Government, who are expected in Barbados for the Eighth Biennial Conference of the Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management (CAPAM) next week, will also participate in the Commonwealth Ministers’ Forum. This is slated to come off at the Hilton Barbados on Thursday, October 23.

According to an official spokesman, “this year’s Forum is on public sector development and will focus on the importance of building strong networks and managing relationships within an increasingly complex governance environment.”

A number of regional meetings on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 22, will precede the important Ministers’ Forum, which will take place the following day. Theme of the Forum is “Managing Relationships for Good Governance and Development”.

Mr. Ransford Smith, Deputy Secretary-General, Commonwealth Secretariat, will give the welcome address.
