The Zone Finals of the Community Dance Fest 2012 – 2013, will begin this week and the Community Development Department is inviting the public to come out and support the dancers from their community.
Dance groups from the North will compete in the first zone final this Friday, December 7, at the Alexandra School, Speightstown, St. Peter, while southern groups will be at the Christ Church Foundation School, Church Hill, Christ Church, on Saturday, December 8.
The Combermere School, Waterford, St. Michael, will be the stage for the participating groups from the St. Michael North and St. Michael South zones on Sunday, December 9, and Monday, December 10, respectively.
All zone finals will begin at 7:00 p.m. and there is no admission fee.
This year, 25 dance groups will vie for a spot in the finals of Community Dance Fest 2012 – 2013, which comes off at Kensington Oval on January 1.
