Dance groups interested in participating in this year’s Community Indepen-dance Festival have until next Friday, August 31 to submit their application forms.
These forms are available from the Community Development Department, 4th Floor Warrens Office Complex, St. Michael or from Community/Resource Centres across the island.
The Festival, being hosted through the Community Development Department will take place from Thursday, September 27 until Sunday, December 2 and will have as its theme, “Unleashing the Spirit of the Community”.
Competitors will be from five zones: North, comprising St. Peter, St. James and St. Lucy; East, St. Andrew, St. Joseph, St. Thomas, St. John and St. George; South, Christ Church and St. Phillip, and north and south divisions of the parish of St. Michael.
