The latest developments on the Holetown Waterfront Improvement Project will be explained to the public when the second Community Perspective lecture and panel discussion takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, June 13, at the Trents Community Centre, starting at 7:00 p.m.
Project Manager of the Coastal Risk Assessment and Management Programme (CRAMP) of the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU), Antonio Rowe, will address the topic: Creation and Development of New Coastal Heritage Space – The Holetown Waterfront Improvement Project.
There will also be a video presentation on the construction of the Richard Haynes Boardwalk, followed by a panel discussion on: The Current Status of the Holetown Waterfront Improvement Project and the Way Forward.
Members of the community are being encouraged to take part in the discussion and learn out about the latest developments in Holetown and how they could benefit.
The Community Perspective lecture series is a collaborative effort between the CZMU and the Ministry of the Environment and Drainage in celebration of Environment Month, which runs from June 1 to 30 under the theme: Living Sustainably …Respecting our Heritage in Shaping a Green Economy.
