The Community Development Department’s Community Technology Programme will begin later this month in St. Lucy, where it will be hosted by the St. Clement Anglican Church.

Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, September 26, and will be held at the St. Clement Training Centre. The programme, which consists of training in Microsoft Office 2010, will run for a period of 10 weeks and is free of cost.

The Level 1 courses being offered for beginners are Introduction to Computers, Introduction to E-mail, Introduction to Internet, Introduction to XP and Introduction to Microsoft Word 2010.

The Level 2 courses for advanced persons are Word and PowerPoint 2010, Excel and Publisher 2010, Access 2010 and Outlook and Internet. Persons interested in registering should contact Melanie Griffith at 429-0903.
