Business leaders, legal professionals and administrators are expected to benefit highly from the Fair Trading Commission’s (FTC) Annual Training Programme on Competition Law and Policy, scheduled for next week.

Slated for Accra Beach Hotel and Spa Rockley, Christ Church, from Thursday, March 15, to Friday, March 16, it will not only provide an overview of competition law and policy, but will emphasise the goals and benefits of effective competition. The programme gets under way at 9:00 a.m. daily.

Director of Fair Competition, Antonio Thompson, and other representatives from the FTC will address the participants, along with key facilitator and attorney with the Bureau of Fair Competition in the United States Federal Trade Commission, Stephen Rodger.

The session is expected to be interactive with discussions and question-and-answer sessions surrounding the key themes of Competition Law and Policy, Abuse of Dominance & Case Analysis and Mergers and Agreements. A certificate of completion will be given at the end of the training.
