Conservation work will be carried out on the Emancipation Statue, also known as Bussa, at the J.T.C Ramsay roundabout at Haggatt Hall, St. Michael, from Tuesday, July 23, to Wednesday, July 31.
This work will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day, and motorists and pedestrians approaching the roundabout are encouraged to do so with caution. They are also advised to take the necessary action to protect themselves from the water spray, during the conservation process.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, in conjunction with the Ministry of Transport and Works, the National Conservation Commission and the Government Electrical Department, apologises for any inconvenience this may cause, and thanks the public for its cooperation.??
