A construction zone has been established at Worthing Beach.

The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources has advised businesses and beach goers in the area to exercise caution as the Barbados Water Authority continues to carry out work on the construction of the outfall off that beach.

This phase of work began on Tuesday, January 8, and will continue into next week.  During this time, steel piping, blocks and other materials will be laid out on the beach, and trucks transporting materials to be utilized in the project will also be traversing the area.

Road users are also asked to note that there will be continuous traffic flow between the sluice gate and Carib Beach Bar during the construction period.

Persons are advised to follow the instructions and guidance of the National Conservation Commission staff.
