Fisherfolk across Barbados are invited to a presentation being hosted by the Fisheries Division on the new Draft Fisheries Management Regulations 2021.
It will take place online via Zoom on Saturday, June 19, starting at 6:30 p.m. The presentation will include a question and answer session, and fisherfolk are encouraged to voice their opinions and ask questions about the draft regulations.
The link will be circulated to persons involved in the industry via WhatsApp, or an email request can be made to the email address fisheries.division@barbados.gov.bb.
Acting Chief Fisheries Officer, Joyce Leslie, has advised that this is a closed meeting and only stakeholders in the industry will be given access.
