The public is invited to join three of the island’s Constituency Councils, this Saturday, June 25, as they host events designed to promote entrepreneurship.

From 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the car park of the National Cultural Foundation, West Terrace, St. James will be transformed into an Open Market. The event, hosted by the St. James South Constituency Council, will have on sale, among other things, plants, household items, books, jewellery, Bajan delicacies, fruits and vegetables.

Meanwhile, the St. Michael South East Constituency Council will stage a Business Expo at the Dash Valley playing field, Mapp Hill, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. In Christ Church West Central, the Constituency Council there will host a Community Market Day, opposite the Aberdeen Jones Centre, Gall Hill, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Art, craft, food, clothes and several other items will be on sale at these events, and representatives from various non-governmental and governmental organisations will be on hand to conduct health checks. There will also be jumping tents and storytelling for the children.
