Come Saturday, June 25, entrepreneurship will be the focus of three Constituency Councils, when they each stage events designed to create business opportunities for residents.

The St. James South Constituency Council will hold an Open Market in the car park of the National Cultural Foundation, West Terrace from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will have on sale, among other things, plants, household items, books, jewellery, Bajan delicacies, fruits and vegetables.

In St. Michael South East, the Constituency Council there will host a Business Expo at the Dash Valley playing field, Mapp Hill, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., while the Constituency Council of Christ Church West Central will stage its Community Market Day, opposite the Aberdeen Jones Centre, Gall Hill, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Art, craft, food, clothes and several other items will be on sale, and representatives from various non-governmental and governmental organisations will be on hand to conduct health checks. There will also be jumping tents and storytelling for the children.

Residents of these constituencies are invited to register for, and participate in, the events and are asked to acquire the requisite health certificates and licenses if they wish to sell food or drinks.
