The St. George Farmers’ Cooperative is inviting members of the public to apply for its Rabbit Rearing Level II course.

The 10-week course, which is being conducted in association with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, will begin at the Greenland Livestock Research Station, Greenland, St. Andrew, on Saturday, October 17.

Classes will be held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Course topics include Rabbit Breeding Principles, Rabbit Health and Nutrition and Commercial Rabbit Production.

Persons in agriculture aiming to start a rabbit farm, or who already rear rabbits, are encouraged to register.??For further information and to register, persons should contact Jason Francis at 271-9210, or email jason.francis@iica.int. The course is free but spaces are limited.
