The only new COVID-19 case recorded on Wednesday, June 30, was that of a male. He was identified from among the 552 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. Thirty-one people are in isolation.
Barbados has recorded 4,082 confirmed cases of COVID-19 – 1,978 females and 2,104 males. The virus has claimed 47 lives.
The public health laboratory has carried out 186,328 tests, since February 2020. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 95,386 first doses of the vaccine have been administered. The number of people who are fully vaccinated after receiving both doses is 71,181.
