Barbados recorded 10 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, March 30.

The four men and six women were identified from among 369 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Eighteen people recovered from the virus and were released from isolation. There are now 134 persons in isolation.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded in Barbados since March 2020 are 3, 652 – 1, 757 females and 1, 895 males – while 3, 475 people have recovered from the virus. Forty-two people have died from COVID-19.

So far, the public health laboratory has conducted 140, 874 tests. To date, 63, 715 vaccinations – 26, 322 men and 37, 383 women – have been administered as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
