There were 11 new positive COVID-19 cases – three men and eight women -identified on Saturday, April 3, from among 433 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
Eight people recovered and were discharged from isolation. A total of 103 persons are currently in isolation.
To date, there have been 3,679 confirmed cases of the virus – 1,774 females and 1,905 males. The number of recoveries since March 2020 is 3,534. COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 43 people.
So far, the public health laboratory has conducted 142,972 tests.
There have been 63,738 people vaccinated – 26,344 men and 37,394 women – during the first phase of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
