Barbados recorded 11 new COVID-19 cases, out of the 466 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Wednesday.

They are three Barbadians – two males, aged 28 and 37, and a 43-year-old female; two male residents, aged 41 and 43; and six visitors – four males, aged 27, 34, 41, and 55, and two females, aged 51 and 60. 

Five persons are symptomatic, while the remaining six are asymptomatic. The three Barbadians reside in Christ Church, St. Thomas, and St. James, while the two male residents are from St. James and St. Peter. The three visitors arrived on island aboard British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, while the other three came into contact with known cases. 

Confirmed cases have move to 383 – 203 females and 180 males. Seven persons left isolation today, bringing recoveries to 319, and those remaining in isolation to 57. A total of 69,718 tests were completed by the laboratory.
